IS THERE ANY STATE OR OPEN LAND TO HUNT SOUTH OF SPECULATOR ON ROUTE 30, BUT STILL IN THE NORTHERN ZONE?

MAN THERE IS SO MUCH STATE LAND UP IN THAT AREA ALL THE WAY UP TO INDIAN LAKE.

South of Speculator has alot of private and International Paper (permit required) land, but there are a few plots of state accessible land. Once you get into the Speculator area you have the Fawn Lake area off Rt.30 (lake pleasant) or North of the town you get into the Perkins Clearing area (Mason Lake/Jessup River) Saw a whopper of a Moose in Perkins last week.
