I used too, but its gotten to be more of a pain in the butt in the last several years, most of the areas arnt open during hunting season, making it almost impossible to scout out hunting spots, but there are some really nice deer on there if they let you hunt the areas.

I hear ya...our land borders the gap, and we used to benefit from the pressure, but recently they have so many of the areas closed. But we still hunt it from time to time. I see your from lebanon...do you hunt around here??

What areas do you hunt? We have lived there our whole lives and never have trouble filling tags. Now when it was shotgun, and select number of hunters for each area, there were many more deer than now...rifle and unlimited hunters. For the most part now, we hunt our land and the edges.

Oh yeah, I belong to a lease near the gap and have a few farms near there that I have permission to hunt.
