What's the best way to use estrus lure?

What is the best way to use estrus lure? Do I spray it in one spot or do I spray it in a circle around my stand or something different? Thanks

Just squirt a little behind each ear...No wait don't do that or you may have a buck "looking for love in all the wrong places"

What some people do is make little scent bombs with cotton, either by putting cotton balls into a clean film canister or tying them to branches then apply the scent to the cotton. Set the lure out about 15yrds from you in a location where you are not directly down wind from it.

I use a cotton ball about 20 yards from my stand. This has worked well, but you need to take it down at night when you leave. Years ago i hung a cotton ball and just left it. I had deer for a couple of days , then on about the 3rd day no deer. By leaveing the scent hanging over night it confussed the deer. Plus I believe they started coming in at night instead of during the day. I've also used the string trick this seems to help cover your own scent.

find small round porus rocks that fit into a 35 mm fil canister...pour 1/2 btl of urine over the rocks and let it soak in for a few hours....climb up your streestand and when you see a buck that is passing out of range ....shoot one towards him with a slingshot........it works!

use a film canister or a tinks scent bomb. put it about 20 yards downwind from your stand. if you're scent free the back of most scents gives an illustration of how to to set up using scents around your stand.
