i personally never cared for the stuff, but i guess if you fry it nice and crispy, i would eat a slice or two.

I bet you can't come to Kansas to hunt.
You should give it a try, here is a simple comparision:
NEW YORK STATE RECORDS
Firearm Typical 198 ¼ (1939)
Firearm Non Typ. 244 ¼ (1939)
Archery Typical 180 1/8 (1998)
Archery Non Typ. 205 1/8 (1996)

KANSAS STATE RECORDS
Firearm Typical 198 ¼ (1974)
Firearm Non Typ. 280 1/2 (1987)
Archery Typical 193 7/8 (2001)
Archery Non Typ. 267 7/8 (1998)

Looks as if you have some pretty old records in NY.
Our deer just keep getting bigger and better in Kansas.
