did you ever hunt sterling forest, and how did you do?

I have hunted there, deer numbers are really low, Last year I did not see any deer at all, I spent an entire week up there my brother did catch a doe and my other buddies only saw a couple of small does and spikes nothing too much. Stewart Airport has a good deer population you should look into that its in zone 3m

Its nice, deer population is low dmp permits are down in the area. Nice land, If you are going to hunt there you need to contact there office and fill out the application, its free but I just sent mine in. I am giving it a try again this year. I like Sterling since its closer for me, I come down from Staten island and its about an hour or so from home.
