Quote from paragraph 2Under the new program a farmer will not only continue to receive extra permits but will also be allowed to harvest antlerless deer from Aug. 15, 2006 through May 15, 2007.

Ifa farmer can shoot deer untill May 15, 2007,what do you think will happen to the buck that loose there antlers this coming winter.

Some one shouldlet DNREC know that mostBuckare antlerlessby March.

I hope F&W monitors/enforces all the guidlines listed in the program.

Something to ask and get answers in the upcoming public meetings - When and how do they physically/onsite monitor farmers in the program.
How do they know IF a farmer is allowing a NON family member/employee to hunt. This is all great for farmers in need of the harvest program BUT can also be like letting the fox run wild in the chicken coup.

I agree with AJ and I just plain don't trust it to work like they want it to.
