Default New to MD

I just moved to rockville MD from Northeastern PA and would appreciate any info anyone can give me in regards to hunting areas in MD. I'm also looking for places to shoot my bow. Thanks in advance guys.

Here's a link to the marylands DNR website. Read it over, it has names and directions to alot of places to hunt. Along with regulations for the state.

I'm not familiar with areas that far south. How far are you willing to drive in the morning to get to a hunting area?

I'm actually still working in southern Pa, so I make a 72 mile one way drive every day. I was going to look into seneca state forest and there are 2 others a few miles up I270 but I can't remember names. From what I gather some of the county parks etc. make you draw fora permit. I'm also looking into joining the MBS.
