Anyone been to the Cabela's tent sale in PA? Is there a lot of merchandise, tree stands, etc? How fast does the good stuff go? Is it worth the 155 mile drive? Thanks....
been there in years past. yeah, worth the drive. incredible pricing. a legitimate 50 - 75% off some items. and they keep rotating merchandise in and out, so take your time. got a treestand there last year about 60% off.
i visited the hamburg store 2 weeks ago. its getting to be like going to the home depot. when you need help you see a bunch of employees all huddled talking about how they got this or that for free to check out or there wondering around in circles like those zombies in that movie NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. its getting bad from what i see. i even stood in one isle for several minutes waiting to ask a question and the couple employees never even said hello. if it were me i might go check things out but i wouldnt go there specifically hoping to get a bargain. ive visited there bargain basement section a few times and if you like crap all ripped open for a couple dollars less than you can get it new i say then you youll love it.if you do your homework i think your better off shopping on line. its nice to visit once in a while though.
I hear what your saying - But - If your not raisen Hell with Dead Beat Employees then Shame Shame on You! I raise Wholy Hell with local Wally Wal Mart all the time.
These big time chains come to town, have a Grand Slam Opening in front of state/local officials telling all how they will set the world on fire with prices and service only to blow off customers 2 yrs down the road - after all the blow hard big shots are gone.
Give Em Hell buddy. The only way you'll get service
as i get older im becoming a softy. i have a couple pro shops that i give my technical business to. i would never bring my gear into cabelas for a tune up or installation. thats why i didnt feel like braking up the huddle in the isle. what ever else i need info wise i get on this site. i have a couple on line places i can always get better prices than cabelas. its nice to visit though but after my last visit once a year will be enough till they build one closer.
