Default Hunting NH Moose

I got my moose tag Ye Haa, I invited my cousin from pa too Be the second shooter he"s very happy Also we can take bear at the same time. I have the E-1 zone, Anybody hunt that before please let me know, Ill be scouting next week for helpers to drag and also a place to stay, I live 2 hours south of there and have never hunted moose before any help would be appreciated thank you.

Where is E-1 I have deer hunted near Plymouth and Berlin, have seen moose sign in that area, what would a non res have to do to get a moose tag in NH.

I would scout all along the south side of Route 2 - many moose in here as you pass through Randolph. There is a state park in Gorham that also have a good population - just need to keep south of there in your area. I think alot of the land is open to hunt south of Rt 2 anyway.

Also - in the class you will learn alot about ways to get them out and how to qtr them for transport. Locals will also help you - just leave a sign in your window "MOOSE", when you get it. Females you need to keep the ovaries and if you don't, the fish cops will send you back for them.
