Did anyone go? I was running around on business the 31st and completely forgot. Anything earth shattering discussed?

I went with buddy. We have hunted the same farm for 8 yrs.Only about 15 guys there.

Arial survey and doe sampling were discussed.Although not the sampling everybody hoped for, there was some very good/new info.

BTW -we were told many many farmers refused to allow any sampling on there property.Hummm - thought these cry babys wanted to reduce the herd due to devastation of AG crops.

We were told it takes about 3 yrs to impliment new regs, harvests etc...(I.E. new deer harvest/zone regs etc...)

This brought up my question - of many I asked in 2 hrs. HB 387 would allow farmers to take any animal they see damaging AG crops - or - believe would damage crops. Also written in was allowing these clowns to use center fire weapons - rifles!!

This bill could pass NOW! That isn't 3 yrs.I kinda went off the deep end on our legislators and the whining cry baby farmers who after decades of codling by F&W now want a Visa to shoot any damn thing they see fit.
They have stated its there land and they shouldn't be told what they can and can't do(Land Rights issues).

If HB 387 is passed it could have a snowball affect on this Land Rights issue - if you get my drift.

F&W stated they along with other state, fed agencys fought tooth and nail to nix the bill in its current form. Like talking to a pile of Cow Dung!

Who is gonna monitor, regulate and enforce this law if passed.

It was strongly suggested hunters call/write/email there reps and make your opinions known if you disagree in part or in whole with HB 387.
It was made very clear HB 387 could very well slip thru if somebody doesn't speak up.

Follow up; I originally didn't believe our legislators would let this bill fly.Goes to show you the power of the $Big Votes$ can and will change anything that seems ludicrous to most. Looks like this flim flam HB could become reality.
