Default Anybody hunting coyote tourny

We're heading up to camp this weekend to do a little coyote hunting and I was wondering if anyone else would be doing the same thing. We'll have 30 guys at camp so it should be a pretty fun weekend although never in a million years did I think we would have more people for coyote than deer. We'll be in lycoming county between slate run and camal. I probably won't do much hunting on Sat though since I'll end up at the flagstone (jersey shore), wagon wheel and manor hotel.

It's not mosquito creek if that's the one you were referring too. I believe it's based out of waterville...at least I know they weigh them in there. It's not near as big but still allot of fun.

Remember, you can use bait now. Pick up some roadkills on the way up.

Just don't get to good at baiting or they'll call you "The Master Baiter" []

LOL, they already call me that.

Thanks for the tip T, I didn't know you could bait now. I guess I'll have to find something to take up with us.

Bearklr - do you guys usually get any coyotes? I've been out trying to call them a few times now, but not muchluck. I did kill one over the summer, but it was a young one.

Quick, there are tons of them around our camp but we do have trouble getting them. It seems we see most during spring gobbler when we're out hunting over our decoys and calling. We have taken a few but none during the tournament. I'm gonna try and see if I can call one in this friday and maybe I'll put out some bait tonight and see if anything comes in by Saturday. I'll let everyone know how many beers...uh, I mean coyotes we get.
