Woman killed in accident with deer
(Greenwich-WTNH, Feb. 12, 2006 8:00 AM) _ A woman was killed on the Merritt Parkway when two deer tried to cross the road.
It happened yesterday afternoon near Exit 31 in Greenwich.
Police say the deer jumped in front of an SUV driven by 61-year old Marion Papouhas.
One of the animals crashed through the windshield and ended up in the passenger seat of the SUV.
The SUV then slid into the median.
Papouhas was pronounced dead at the scene.

The ironic thing of it is that Greenwich is an area that frowns on hunting. I feel very bad for the family. I wonder what the tree huggers are going to say now. How sad.
