4W Hancock NY deer hunting?

Hello all,new to this board,I have been looking at some hunting properties and found one i like a few miles north of hancock off route 268. would like to know how the deer and other game hunting has been there the last few years? I have never hunted up there but anything south is too much $$ and do not want to go much further north.

I hunt up that way right off of RT 17 a place called HAWK MOUNTAIN
The deer heards are light ,have seen more bear then deer.

I have hunted there for the last 10 years. The nubers of deer are down. bear numbers are on the rise. There are always some nice bucks taken in the 120 class everey year. The pressure from locals and poaching has increased greatly in the last two seasons. Its really nice area though and I would buy there.
