NEW JERSEY SAW 8 BEAR HOW WAS YOUR WEEK?

no shots but i saw 8 bear all week and took a heavy 6 pointer. i saw 3 bears go in a swamp that will be there next year for sure.a big sow with 2 big cubs. they fed till dark climbing the trees eating bark right in front of my stand at 75 yards.

Hunted on Monday in ZOne 2 and had 50+ does/yearlings from 6.30--5pm. I passed a small spike at 8am and that was the last buck that I saw. The club did whack 8 bucks with only one being decent (big 7pt 150lbs), the rest were all scrap. Hunted Sat AM and saw 4 does and we took a wounded spike. Total of 9 bucks for the week so I guess it was good for some. 2 guys actually took 2 bucks on the opener!

Only hunted one time, got a 5 pointer.

hunted in the snow friday morning. got out there 5 am.and set my tree lounge up (forgot the roof attachment [:@]) when the sun came up i was covered in inches of snow. it stopped around 10 am, but i never saw a critter move. what an awesome day to be out. i probably should have done some tracking that day
