Well guys, get prepared to see a HUGE typical 12 point from Pennsylvania in some hunting mags. This buck was shot in a golden rod field that borders the property I hunt, the story is that the lucky hunter was standing in the golden rod field when he heard a shot across the cornfield that borders the golden rods (there are SGL's on the other side of that) and the giant came out of the SGL's, crossed the field and ran right to him.
To say this buck is huge is an understatement, like I said, he is a typical 12 point, his tines are all in the 8"-10" range, huge mass (can't fit your hand around the bases), and the kicker....... a 26-1/2" inside spread with LONG main beams. Not sure of a score yet, but this thing is world class and hopefully some pics of this buck will come out soon enough.
Yep, no big bucks on SGL's though
