Default my 2005 maine bear, in memory of Roxanne

here is a pic of this year's bear. 1 shot@ 30 yards, went only about 20 yards.it was a nice dry sow. live weight of 235, she dressed at 185. having it turned into a 3/4 mount in memeory of my late fiance, who wanted to go but passed before she could get her own 3/4. it was taken with her rifle, while i was wearing her hunting hat.

Sorry for your loss, You were very lucky to have her enjoy the outdoors with you, enjoy the memories. I wish my wife would show a little interest in my sport. What part of Maine did you get your bear?

Sorry for your loss. It's a shame, it sounds as if you and Roxanne were made for each other. She was there, in spirit. A great trophy that I'm sure will be a long memory for you. After all that is what the outdoors is supposed to provide, memories, both good and bad.

thanks guys. Britt, i got it in Edmunds, near Calais. yeah, she did look big in the pic, but we hadn't dressed it yet at that point. still trying to figure out where the mount is going to go when it is done.
