Default Ducks in CT ...

I'm from Mississippi and I'm on a travel assigment in Connecticut ... I'll be here 'til mid-February and I'm looking for someone to hunt with. Surely there's ducks in the Atlantic Flyway, and I'd love to give them a try. You can e-mail me at tlairdrn@msn.com .... thanks guys (and gals).

Good luck. We are up north. Very soon all the ducks that migrate will be gone. Anything left over are the one's that stay year-round. But I think the only waterfowlwhere some of themstay up here year-round are the Canada Goose.

If anyone objects to that let me know. I am open to input on this topic because I only hunted woodducks when I used to hunt ducks and they are usually all gone south by now.

Not really...Here in Maryland, I'm still seeing them in big flocks over swamps and ponds. When I was Sika Deer hunting, there was one whistling in the swamps

Typically there is a big difference in weather up here compared to Maryland. Maryland does get some tough weather like we do but not on a regular basis as up here in New England.
