Yesterday, in before light. Put up a scent wick with the old Code Blue. Get settled in. Sun comes up and give a little soft grunts. Nothing. Wait 30 minutes or so hit the grunt again. Minutes later I hear the unmistakable sound of a deer in the leaves. He coming closer. I see a deers body in the brush. Then I see some antlers. Holy !@#$. I can't breath. He stops in the brush. I need him to take 3 more steps. He does. I grunt at him and he stops. I let the arrow fly and he dropped right in his tracks. I spined him and had to finish him off. Been bowhunting for about 10 years and he was worth the wait. Do you think I should get him scored? I know he's going in my living room.
