Default Got a doe

Got a doe yesterday. Was in stand from 3:00 on and saw nothing but her all night. Hunted in the morning and didn't see anything. Of course, I was getting my stuff out of the truck prior to entering the woods and there are three deer within 20 yards of me on the side of the road eating grass. They didn't have a care in the world.

But I can't shoot them there. Mid day there was a lot of movement I noticed from my friends house.Rutting isnot in highest gear IMO. Perhaps next week?

Side note: My hunting partner saw three big Toms come within 20 yards of his stand last night. He said they werebeautious!!!
