Hunting the Trough?

Any body ever hunt the trough along the south branch of the potomac in Wv?

The pic is Sir Ernest Shackleton, he was the British Empire's Greatest Explorer in my mind. I haven't heard anything about the trough. Other than, I have canoed through there during the summer, and it is a WMA on both sides Its only accessible by canoe, so I thought it might have some good deer in there. I doubt too many guys would take the time and effort to canoe in cold weather and then hunt. It would be different to try it out sometime. I was just wondering if anyone has ever done it.
