Default Acorns in NY?

I haven't gotten much scouting in this year (too much work), but I was wondering about the acorns this year. I hunt in the Catskills, Delaware County. Does anyone know how the acorn crop is this year?

Was at our lease yesterday and at times it sounded like it was raining.

The ground was also covered with acorns.

It's looking like a good year for acorns
We have them dropping all over here in Steuben County.

I hunt in Margaretville. Unfortunately, the mountain thatI hunt on is mostly Hemlock, Ash and Maple, but last year I did find a stand of oaks, but there were almost no acorns. While there are deer in the area, there aren't many food sources available, so I am hoping that if there is a good acorn crop, that the deer will flock to it. I'll get to find out in 11 days!!
