I know we sure do need the rain but it looks like we are going to get it here in western Pa on Saturday. Our weather man is calling for that storm to give us rain on Friday and Saturday and could be heavy at times. Sure glad i have next week off to hunt. Good luck and be safe to all the Pa archery hunters.

Like the mailman, I'll be out there in the rain. I actually love hunting in the rain, if it's not too hard, I see alot of game activity in the rain. Hey, they live in it, they can't stay in.

I'm just hoping it's a light rain and not a downpour all day....I've seen lots of deer on rainy days, but I still prefer an overcast or sunny, cool crisp autumn day!
I have been watching the weather forecast since this past Friday. Yes, they are calling for light rain on Friday and heavy rain on Saturday. It is still a few days away yet and you folks know what the weather forecast can be like. I am just hoping that the rain either holds off till Saturday afternoon or is finished on Friday night. Just so Sat. morning is rain-free.
If it is raining though I will probably still go out but I will be taking the ground blind instead of the treestand. No point in sitting out in the rain if you can't do it comfortably....
I have good rain gear and a decent umbrella....but for really bad weather I might as well sit in the blind. Heck, I could be like you in there and set up a video camera on a tripod behind me...
I am itchin' to try out the new blind though so I really won't be upset either way.
Like BM stated, the NOAA weather service has changed the forecast to Chance of Isolated Thunderstorms (40%) and a high of 79 degrees.....at least for the Lehigh Valley area.
