Default Sussex, NJ

Anyone hunt at the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge in Zone 2?, Sussex New Jersey? Please let me know your opions, will be checking it out this weekend.

I have done small game hunting there a few times but never for deer. I know thier is alot of deer in there though. Im sure it would be great for bow. good luck

I hunted there a fw times in the late blackpowder season and found it pretty good. The rules were only Bow, Shotgun Permit and Blackpowder when I hunted so not sure about it now. I think you have to find the right spots and some of the better ones back up to the farming areas. Also, I know a guy that uses a canoe to float down to a few spots and he is pretty successful.

We hunt in Wantage (Zone 2) off Rt 565N.
