ATTN Maine Hunters: Stories Wanted

Anyone out there hunting whitetail in NE Maine?
Heading up there in late Nov 2002 and I've heard that the deer population has increased. Friends of mine had some great reports from that area.

2002 going to be a good year ????

I'll be up for Thanksgiving week. Deer reports are good from friends up there. Doe's with tripletts and some big racks seen. Its looking like a good year. Last season was tough. I managed a spike to fill my buddies freezer....

I hunt, and live, in northern Maine. More deer around this year than last but I wouldn't say they are behind every tree. Where are you hunting?

hi there all,i will be hunting distric 17 again this year.got a doe permit last year and it went unused. got one this year also .im not going to be picky.but ive been hunting for 13years and still waiting
to get a buck.i dont care how big the head gear is just to say i got one.. good luck to all. hope my luck changes this year

Maybe I'll have one for you when I get back after next week. Heading up Friday to Unity for a week of bow hunting, atleast it will be cool up there.
