Default Ground Hogs in State Parks

Why aren't you allowed to shoot ground hogs in any state parks? They're open year round everywhere else. What's the deal? Another quirky PA law?

Really? Thats unique...never knew that.....prolly has something to do with the fact that they don't want so many people shooting all year round.
