Default New to 3-D

As much as I hate to say this after bow hunting for many years, I have never been to a 3-D shoot. Was wondering if they help at all once the regular season gets here....

They help lots with your yardage estimation, shooting under pressure, and confidence level. Where are you from?

Have to agree with Rick. I shoot a fair amount of 3D in the off season from February through September. Come October when that deer steps out I don't even second guess myself to the distance. It is also definitely a confidence booster.

3D is one of the best ways I know to practice for hunting. Its also gangs of fun!

Fair warning though, it can be addictive

I agree. 3D shotting is a blast. It gives me something to look forward to and gets me pumped for the season (as if I need any help). But the best benefit I receive from it is the yardage estimation as RJ already said.Give it a shot you'll love it.

Never been to one in 57 years ,so dont feel bad. I have no desire to go to one either. If it is anything like a gun club,no thanks.A bunch of people bull crapping about how good they are ,then try and find out where you hunt so they can slip in and beat ya to the deer.
