Just checked the PGC website to see what the tag situation looked like for the second round. Three WMUs are already out of tags...1B, 2F and 2G.....and it isn't lookin' pretty for some other WMUs where tag numbers are runnin' low.
...not to mention the fact that non-residents get to apply this Monday.
2B is getting hit harder and harder each year with people. Every one thinks they can just waltz right in and shoot deer there. Unless you have a honey hole, its not easy hunting at all.

Whats making it harder on me is the fact that every year it seems I lose another hunting spot in 2B. Either the landowner decides to post the property and not allow any hunting or the property gets sold and developers move in to build new homes. It's pushing me to consider buying into a hunting camp or lease somewhere.

I'm all for the NR's getting a doe tag after we get onne but before we get the second one but it really agitates me that they get to send for unsold doe tags the same time we do. That means a NR could , by luck of the draw, get a second tag where a resident gets his back stamped "sold out" NR's should get a chance at unsold tags but it should happen one week after the residents.
JMHO!
