How many from out of state hunt in Jersey?

I live here and go out of state to hunt. Hunted NJ one year and that was enough for me.

I have never hunted there though I have kicked around the idea a few times. The state boundary is only about 40 minutes from my home. That is a heck of alot closer than some places I have driven to hunt.

Many of the customers down at the shop hunt both NJ and PA. I would say about 1/5th.

Plenty of deer here, just cost so much as a resident and the different seasons and restrictions are had to deciper.

Hunted pheasants in NJ once in the 1980s. Now fishing - that's a different story.

I once heard that New Jersey has more deer(area) per square milethan any state in the country. It is the most deer populated state based on size. Is this true?
