Default Abbott Brook Guide Service

Anyone ever heard or or used Abbott Brook Guide Servie in Maine?

I am planning on useing them for a bear hunt this fall.

They are a little west of Rangeley, Maine, how are the bear numbers in there?

Any help would be appreciated.

Erik

Hey Rusty,
The western Maine mountains do hold bear, however, it is not even close to the best area in the state to hunt them. You would be far better off in the northeastern part of the state...northeast of Lincoln. Loaded with bear, and quite a few absolute pigs.

rustyaxe ive been there before for the price you cant beat it if you want a vac. , but the camps are overcrowded, 25-30 a week. unless your in the spike camp. i did not see one bear up there lot of moose, when i was in the spike camp no one got one, go up north more , or go to new brunswick if i were you, hope this helps you if you have anymore ? dont be afraid to ask..
