For those who love the duck calls, the company I represent has worked with Ralph McDonald to create a set of acrylic calls that are like no other in the call industry. Ralph McDonald, 2006 Ducks Unlimited artist of the year, is known for his paintings, "Answering the Call," "Grandad's Legacy," and "Wake Me at Four."
He has exclusively designed artwork for our call, titled "Callin 'Em In," which has been etched on a set of ivory acrylic calls. The calls are displayed in a cherry wood box with the artwork engraved on the lid. This series is limited to only 250 sets, and each set is numbered.
Each set contains one acrylic short-reed goose call and one acrylic duck call. Both calls are ivory acrylic with stainless steel bands. The goose call has a goose leg-band with "Callin "Em In" by Ralph McDonald engraved on the band, which is also numbered. The duck call has a three inch barrel which has a double-reed acrylic insert.
Ralph McDonald's artwork, "Callin 'Em In", depicts a young boy in his dad's oversized hipboots and shotgun dreaming of "Callin 'Em In", at a lone gander in its final approach over cattails along with three mallards ready to touch down in flooded timber.
This limited series now available for ordering! The set of calls and its display box are sold as one unit. Each unit is $225 plus $10.00 for shipping and handling fees.
