It's an old family farm that we've decided to sell. We don't get a lot of use out of it anymore. It's very secluded and perfect for hunting parties of about 4-6. Most of those bucks were taken in the 90's on the farm.

There's lots of awesome land deals in eastern Ky and southern wV. I was going to buy 100 acres in eastern Ky, but started doing the math on what it would take to keep the poachers away. I grew up there, so I know their ain't no such thing as private land unless someone shoots at ya. Then its private for that day at least.

Poaching has never been a problem. It's located more in Central Kentucky than Eastern Kentucky. Lexington is less than an hour away. The entire place is fenced and gated as well. It's also about a mile off the nearest road. Access is by two right-of-ways over adjacent farms that are written into the deed.

I realize that pretty well, just explaining my experiences with land that is not lived on. I imagine you live close by.
