Public Land in WI

I was wondering if anyone knew of any public land near Rusk and Chppewa counties in WI. I know of one are south of Ladysmith and also know that there is Chequamagan Nat'l forest land in Taylor County to hunt. Is anyone familiar with these areas? I have hunted the area south of Ladysmith during the rifle season but am looking for better areas to bow hunt.

I hunt alot of Wisc. public ground, but mainly South east. Here is a link to a site the WDNR has set up with real good descriptions and maps of all of Wisc. Public grounds, you sould be able to find what your looking for within this site.. Good luck

I have land I lease out near there. It is available now. Phillips area. About 200 acres. Heavily wooded, some open, water.
