What's the latest on the non-resident tag situation in IL?

DC,

Go to the Bowsite IL forum for updates, but from what I am hearing none of us will know for sure this year until the last minute, probably late May. That is when the IL regulations normally come out. Thank goodness I have points in Iowa and will put in there first. Those results will be out before the IL deal is published. From what is going on now legislatively, there will be no BPS call-in. That contract expired with many problems. There will be a lottery, with outfitters getting 50% of the 15,000 tags. If an outfitted client does not draw, they will be allowed to enter the regular draw. Tag prices will probably go up to $500, but it's not finalized.
