Mushroom Licence in Illinois?

Have you heard anything about this? There was something about this in the paper this morning....They have a thing called Open Line, and people call in and gripe about stuff, and they print it in the paper. Someone was gripeing about haveing to have a mushroom licence, is this true?

I saw that too. It is a hoax.

No license needed to hunt mushrooms in IL.

yes that is a hoax but they are limiting you to 410 shotgun with 7 1/2 shot or arrows with field tips only

They tried passing it but it didnt work. the govener blagovich or however u spell his is name is doin a hell of a job tryin to ruin hunting in my opioin. i think hes peta. like when he tried making hunting liscenses $500! what a joke.

Illinois Mushroom license???

Lets see, as a Nonresident, they will probably charge me $500. for each mushroom tag, have an exact time and date for me to keep calling for 16 hours of busy signals to get a mushroom tag, then treat me like crap for comeing down and spending all my saveings in there fine state while hunting that elusive mushroom.

Heck, Id poach em before I bought a licence for mushrooms. They'd probably make it illegal to spotlight them, too.

I'll agree with that Democrats don't even like him comment. I go to a mostly Democratic school (UofI) and he spoke at our bball teams welcome home ordeal. It was hilarious when almost everybody booed him! I was shocked, to say the least, b/c so many students and faculty are so dem. and liberal up here!

But as far as the mushroom license goes, I'd say it's a hoax too. That would be rediculous!
