crawford county is where they are most populated, 400 - 600 hogs there. B careful though, I've talked to two people that have shot hogs

Hunter #1 45 - 50 yards, with a 270, heart/lung shot hog ran over 300 yards
Hunter #2 7 mag, 40 - 45 yards to the FOREHEAD, hog ran off, followed trail for about 500 yards, then lost trail.

These thing are super tough.

Small games lisc required, can use light to identify (not spot) hogs at night, no bag limit, no time limits, all year season.

Please call your area DNR after baging, just so they can try to keep population estimates accurate.

IF you call the WI DNR and ask them for information on pig hunting they will send you a map showing where they are located.

I live in Taylor county the county just east of Rusk and as far as I know and have heard there are no pigs in Rusk of Taylor counties. As far as that goes I have never heard of any pigs in Price, Clark, Lincoln, Sawyer, Chippewa counties either some one correct me if I am wrong

Why the liberal/no limits. Are they game animals or are they considered pests? Would be fun to have another animal to hunt.
