Hello, i'm new to the forum,I live in north Ga., but once a year 3 or 4 of us come up to southeastern ohio to bow hunt. Meigs county, Just wandering if any Meigs or Athens county deer hunters were on the forum.

I hunt Vinton and Athens countys.
Should be a good season this comeing year.

I myself don't hunt in those counties but my cousins husband and his friends go down for gun season and muzzle loader

I hunted deer in Meigs for shotgun and muzzleloader seasons this past year. I was amazed at the number of deer there. And if you look at the Ohio Division of Natural Resources website you can see some pictures of some trophy bucks taken there this year. I'm hoping to hunt turkey there this spring as well. Good luck there next season.

I hunt those countys. lots of deer. To many if you ask me. They put the hurt on the corn fields the lost two years realy bad. I here we might be able to take up to three deer this year. I hope to get my limit. Hunt on.
