Great idea. Congrats on taking this thing we love to the next generation. I have been doing exactly that for a couple of years now. I would suggest the boy scouts. Make sure you take the parents with you atleast one time. Make sure everyone is 100% sure of what is going on.

It is a very rewarding thing for everyone involved.

Hey it is great i am 18 years old and no one in my family hunts so i had to start on my own when i was 14. My parents friends have a son that is 14 and is in the same place i was in when i was 14, he asked me to teach him so we did some shooting and he bought a bow and i didn't think he was ready for the season but he was shooting great and wanted to try so we went in a bought him a tag and i took him out and he shot a deer the first time out. I told him not to expect this all the time though. He put a great shot on the deer and it ran like 40 yards and droped over dead. He was so pumped. It made my season.

He by the way are you in clinton county Iowa

It is always nice to see someone out there trying to make a difference. My 4 yr old can't wait to go deer hunting. He just can't figure out why he can't go, the whole time his mouth is going a mile a minute!
