Hey,welcome to the area, Im in Salem, about 45 minutes or so away from you. We have some good public land around here, and quite a bit of it too. What are you looking for to hunt? Deer, turkey, small game? I love ot hunt just about everything, so if you want to send me an email maybe I can answer some more questions you may have about the area, if I can. My email is angusgresham@yahoo.com

Im from the Springfield area and I have been going to Schell City to bowhunt. They have 8200 acres of conservation land reserved for archery and bird hunting, its great over there!
