Default Ducks for Deer

Anybody with some great bowhunting like to swap a hunt for next year? I have 3000 acres of flooded rice and bean fields in Ark. about 20 miles from the MS River....this is near Wynne and Parkin just north of Stuttgart. I would like a hunt in Ill, IA, KS, Ohio and any of the Mid Western states....with a reasonable chance to arrow a 150 class buck.

Indiana here. I'd be interested. I will have some land in Northern Indiana. Don't know about 150 class bucks, but they shoot some big deer. This year a guys shot a 12-pointer(6 inches around at the base) that field dressed at 310lbs. I also have a buddy thats dad shot a buck during the last weekend of bow season that he is goin to Pope and Young to have it scored, expects it to be around 140. I'd love to get into some good duck hunting. my email is jagordon@purdue.edu. I suspect you won't find anything better in Ohio. maybe west central illinois, or Iowa, but those guys don't really like people infringing on their hunting.

T Roy, its all in the eye of the beholder dude. You'd be shocked to see what folks pay for their own duck holes.

Hey standsnblinds, Is this private property. BTW, the land I have is private , not an outfitter. What part of N Indiana?

Yeah it'll be a lease. It'll be near Winnimac, IN. Now I've never hunted it before so I can't tell you there will be monsters on there, but I know the county it's in and the counties around it produce really good bucks.

And T roy if you ever got into some really good duck hunting you would understand. It's pretty darn exciting to have ducks dropping in on you nonstop, guess its just a duck hunter thing. Hey stroker, how many guys could I bring down there?

Maybe, maybe not. I installed a wetlands here in Iowa on my farm. Lots of ducks and geese landing on it. I have never even hunted it. Not interested in waterfowl. Don't like to eat them. Now deer, that's a completely different story Got some nice deer round here!

Hey jnrbronc, where did you get this wetlands that you you speak of (i.e. Sears)? Please share with us on what hand tools are required to install such a wetland?

Yeah I find it hard to believe you "installed" some outstanding wetlands in Iowa. Although parts of Iowa have decent duck hunting. And I still so you have no room to talk because you've never been duck hunting.
