I need to buy land in Ohio!

ARG!!!

For the second time, my hunting plans are ruined!!! I have tomorrow off, and was going to hunt with my neighbor who has permission on a farm. Well, things at his job changed, and he can't get tomorrow off. Now, it's off to state land I go.[:'(]

I know there's good state land in Ohio, but it would be an overnight trip -- not what I'm looking for at the last minute. The state land near me pretty much sux.[:@]

Now, if I could raise $100,000 or so...[&:]
You know, it would just be nice to not have to rely on someone else when you want to hunt.

I have been in the same situation several times [:@][:'(]. But now that I hunt with my cousin, my uncle owns more than 700 acres all in monroe and wayne county so hopefully I'll get to hunt there for awahile.

Yeah, deerslayer, family is great. if I still lived in Michigan, i'd have a couple of hunting options, both very good.

Are you looking in the southeast, or where/ $100,000 is that total layout or are you willing to carry a note as well? How many acres and do you want development (house). Is fencing important, how about water and power?

Check out Southeast Ohio land is cheaper down there, there are also alot of nice landowners down that way that welcome hunting on their land. If you can, chack out Wayne Natnl Forest, the land is public, but there is what seems like endless land down there, many opportunities to get in a spot that hasnt seen many hunters. I gun hunted 2 solid days down there and never saw another hunter besides those with me.
