darn right! I am very happy to see their interest in it, as I mentioned in another thread, my 5 year old daughter went to the processors with my BF and watched them processing the deer, she picked up a leg that had been dismembered and threw it in the trash can, then she came home and helped BF cut up the doe!

Thats good probably nothing better than teaching young ones about hunting. I hope I get to have that chance one day.

The thing I like most about it is that she is learning the REASONS we hunt, not just for fun, but for FOOD. She now understands how we GET our meat and how it is processed. She was so excited to have blood of a deer on her hands. She was at her dad's house on opening weekend, so when we shot our deer, we couldn't take her out to the woods to let her "help". She was upset about that, but at least she got the chance to help BF out with the trimmings.

The most hilarious thing though, when her and BF were in the garage, I was sitting in the living room on the couch, next thing I know, i hear someone knocking on the window, I look over and my daughter had a leg, and she was using the hoof to knock on the window, all i could see was a deer foot! LOL It was hilarious, and if I hadn't of known what was going on in the garage, i probably would have crapped my pants to see a deer hoof knocking on my window out of the clear blue! LOL

I can't wait until mine are old enough to harvest one of their own! I can't imagine the pride that comes with that, it's awesome when my boyfriend gets one, I can't imagine what I'll do when my babies get their's! Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing!

I need to start having kids...I'm 23 already! I need a kid to take hunting and fishing...b/c the g/f isn't into hunting at all..although she very much enjoys fishing.
