Illinois shotgun season

Its finally here, it will be nice to be off of work for a few days to hunt in a new place i must say i am pretty excited my father and i are heading out from NJ on wensday to hunt brown county.

Can't wait any longer. Going to Hardin Co. on wed. for 2days with the bow and the rest with shotgun. Hope the temps stay low, and the rut is still in going on somewhat.

here in hancock am seeing the crap out of rubs and scrapes
went scouting today and found tree rubs that wernt there 2 days ago the bigest was 4 foot in lenth no kiddin
huge scrape next to it too
lots of tracks and big ones too count down continues

my wife keeps laughing at me i keep wearing my camo mask and boxers around
told her im getting in the mindset

Who's hunting Johnson County? We'll be down there Wednesday to maybe bow hunt a bit and get set up for shotgun.

Anyone want to share a beer, soda or story? We'll be hanging around the Chuck Wagon in "downtown" Cypress (on the street 1 block East of Rt. 37) kinda behind the gas station. We're staying at Ferm Cliffe State Park.

Uncle matt, my Dad and I stay in Feyrn Cliff as well. We will be set up all the way to the north, past the restrooms and dump station. Stop by if you get the chance, look for a red Chevy pickup and a blue Bonneville.

Also what about this weather?
I don't know weather to wear my hunting gear or SHORTS.
Looks like the lockers will be swamped again this year. Isn't the end of November fall?????????????????????????

We should have a couple of sites just over east of the restrooms/showers. We're pitching tents this year.
