Default Land O'Lakes State Forrest

GOING HERE THIS NEXT WEEKEND NOT SURE WHERE TO PUT UP DEER STAND< ANY HELP??????????????? this forrest is located by outing MN Should I go open grassy area surrounded by trees or go all trees area

Be more specific in its location because I don't know where it is....

Southern MN?

I would go grassy with little trees

After you have scouted or checked the area for sign, select a spot.

In general intersection trials or locations between bedding and feeding areas are normally good.
On the intersection trials, if you can make out tracks, look for trials that run in opposite or different directions.

The rut should still be going when you're hunting so focus on the Does. The bucks will come to them.

That is very simplistic advise but you don't give a lot of info with your question.
