I just lost my hunting spot after being allowed to hunt it for the past 5 years. the land was sold to a person who likes to watch deer and won't let anyone hunt them. anyone around decatur know of any spots?
Sorry to hear about your bad situation. There is no public hunting areas listed for macon county. The closest public areas are Clinton lake and Weldon springs. Good luck in finding close private ground. I would talk to anyone you can at any sporting goods or gunshops to help get a contact on private ground close by.
i've been burning up the phone lines and am having some luck. with it being so close to the rut i'm having a little trouble but hopefully i'l find a spot close by.
