Default 2004 Big Illinois Doe Pic

I am back from my 4th annual Womens Bowhunt at Hunting Unlimited Inc in Brown County Illinois... it was great we had 4 women from ages 35 to 63 attend the bowhunt from Michigan, PA and Illinois ( 2 women cancelled at the last minute). The women took 2 does.
My roommate at the hunt took a 2 1/2 year old doe... as was happy to return to PA with her 1st Illinois deer
I was bowhunting for a 140 class or better buck but he was a no show.
The women passed on several smaller bucks while waiting on the mature bucks....... but we all had a great time.
I took this doe... she was aged at 4 1/2 to 5 years of age... she weighed in at 160lbs and was the largest doe taken on the property so far this year.... so my name goes into the hat for the hunters that get a doe to win a free bowhunt there for next year
I shot her wed am in the rain ....she gave me a 12 yard shot quartering towards me and dropped maybe 19 yards from my stand so thankfully we didnt have to blood trail her in the rain
We had a tough time bowhunting there since it was nasty cold rainey windy weather almost the whole time we were hunting.... when the sun did pop out it was great to just soak up some sun and dry out.
Sorry the pics arent the best but it was rainey and the camera got wet.

Nice doe. Here's the picture for those who can't see it. (imagestation is strange about hotlinking pictures so they don't always work)
