east central illinois update

Anyone been seeing any good deer movement this past week. I have seen very little in terms of movement in this rain. 3 deer total in th past week. Im hunting public ground in vermillion county. I think were in the october lull if there is such a thing. Its supposed to cool down this weekend so hopefully they will move. Lets keep each other posted in the east central illinois area.

I'm seeing deer movement like clockwork from about 6am to 8am, bedding down until 10 or so - disappear - then back out and about from 5:30pm on.

We should be in some good pre-rut this time next week - hopefully

have taken one doe and seen about another 30 or so not a buck sighting to date will get back out maybe tommorrow afternnon

Im heading out this evening. went out in the rain yesterday and didn't see nothing.
