Anybody hunt Pembine, WI area?

Hey all, This is my first post here and it looks like a great forum.

I just got a place a couple of miles north of Pembine, WI in Marinette county. Only about 5 acres but I am surrounded by thousands of acres of county forest. Just wondering if anybody here is familiar with the area and any opinions on buck quantity or quality.

There are a few moose running around the Pembine area, and they should be in the rut right about now. Keep your eyes peeled for something larger than life. Good luck with the new land.

There is a lot of good bear sign around as well.
I also hear there is a wolf pack around.

I'll be up in the Pembine area for two days next week and five days the first week of November bowhunting. I'll also be up there four a couple of days of the gun season. Usually fill my tags the opening couple of days.
I hunt on the county land northwest of Pembine.
The Deer numbers are high in the area and there are always nice bucks to be had if you do your scouting.

E-mail me and if you're going to be in the area I'll give you my cell phone number and we can touch base. Im also looking for land in the area for a hunting camp. I want something as you described you have for yourself. Several acres immediately adjacent/abutting either State or county land.

I hunt north-west of there, myself. More in the Aurora area.
Lots of deer especially does.
The bucks are starting to get interested. I watched a 15" 8 point run his nose through the grass where a doe had peed five minutes before.
