Default Deer lures

does anyone suggest a good deer attractant that actually works? I have tried "Tinks" and "Wildlife research's Trails End" with not much luck. I don't want to start spending a lot of money experimenting with deer lures.

Tink's Smokin Sticks...Only thing I have had real success on. I used them to take my first buck...and I have also noticed that they can attract from about 300 yards if the wind is right. I have seen more deer come to these than anything in my life. I just bought a scent machine...They look like a good concept. Supposed to atomize the scent molecules in the air. Ill give a report when I use it!
