You can never really predict it.
But, Usually it start warming up begining of november. Usually hits around the third week. Most of it depends on the temperature and moon cycle.

Shoot for November 10-17 for the hottest dates.

Good luck!

i couldnt tell you exact rut dates, the first weekend of firearm season is suppose to coincide with the peak of the rut, 1st season Nov 19-21;
but in my experience if you're looking for peak activity that could be any time from late october to the first day of firearms, depending on weather and other factors. if the weather is cool the last week of october can be very good.

Based on the cycle of the moon, does breed so their fawns will be born on the last quater moon. Preadtors are not as active during the dark of the moon giving fawns a better chance of survival. This being said the gestation for a deer is 198 days average so I predict the rut will be early this year starting around the 6 th of November.

Right before the first firearm season for about a week after. This has usually been the prime rut. That is when I am planning a trip downstate.
