Default Little help

I'm traveling to western Illinois for a hunt in october, I'm a few hours from cleveland, ohio. I wanted to know the fastest way to get there? I have been there before and went thru cleveland to columbus to indy to springfield, real boring and long ride. I thought about taking interstate 90 to chicago then going down towards springfield. Any advice on which route you thought was faster to get there from cleveland?

I can't give you a whole lot of advice, but telling you to make sure you AVOID Chicago is great advice. That city is always a congested traffic jam. Try useing mapquest.

lou-lou,
I live in the central part of Illinois, but spend a fair amount of time working in and around Chicago. If you think coming through the middle of the state is boring, try sitting in a six lane parking lot up north. <grin> I grew up in Indy and moved to Springfiled in the late 80's. I, too hunt western Illinois. I know the trip from Indy to Springfield is a little tough, but it sure beats sitting still up north. At least you will be moving toward your goal. I personally would avoid the Chicagoland area as much as possible. Good luck.
